    A beautiful hardcover recipe book with stunning pictures and a back-to-the-basics approach to Italian food. It covers regional differences in food and the basic ingredients and variations. It's got gnocchi, cacciatora, biscotti, biscotti, and much much more.

    I love the way the dishes are seperated by regions of Italy. Everything looks tasty and there are some modern, updated ingredients. All in all a good addition to my cookbook collection. I'll be making one or two seasonal dishes this coming week. (A birthday present!-7/2008.)
