    Though a very detailed and authoritative scholarly book on the subject of the title itself, the author occasionally steps out of objective narrative on how the Arctic fits into international law to introduce personal bias. This is a shame as the vast majority of the book is an excellent resource to provide insight into the complexity of international law as it relates to the Arctic as it becomes more accessible with climate change.
