The second story in the V series, The V in Vengeance picks up just after The V in Valor and continues the story of Vic and Matt. Fans of the characters will know exactly what is special about these men, but for those who are new, Vic and Matt are not your normal couple. Vic gains special superhero powers from Matt every time they have sex, and since Vic is exclusively a bottom that means he is constantly dealing with a new power depending on what position the guys were in while getting busy. Review posted at Brief Encounters Reviews. In Vengeance, the second story in Matt and Vic’s series, the two main characters are both steadily plodding along in their ever-strengthening relationship. With the addition of Sadie, the dog that Vic rescued and gifted to Matt in Valor, they become even a bit more domesticated. And though they might not be ready to make their relationship completely and legally permanent, they’re considering it as they start a family with the lovable lab. This story [...]

Reviewed for Hearts On Fire ReviewsThis installment in the Vic and Matt saga is a little slower than the first, a little softer. It is focused more on the feelings side of the pair, particularly Matt, who realizes he wants a concrete symbol to show the world Vic is his and he is Vic’s. Namely, Matt is looking at rings. This may seem pale in comparison to the superpowers that show up after Vic and Matt have sex (and they never know what the powers will be, so sometimes it gets tricky), but it w [...]

I love these characters ~ they are sweet and fun and the sex is hot. There are so many unique stories about these guys (38 right now!), it's a blast to follow them. I have their books from all different sources - I suggest going to the author's website to get a complete list and the order they should be read in.

Another fun Matt and Vic story - I love the way JMS works humour and love throughout these tales. It's abundantly clear how much the two MCs care for each other. Drunken Matt is adorable too.Oh yes, and I'm completely jealous of Vic's second superhero power in this one!

4.5 Stars - This little gem has action, humour, love, and a dog :) I loved that Vic breaks the bottom stereotype. I also liked the feelings we get from both men.
